Peter J Baldwin
Charting CON-ditions of [un]certainty
Peter Baldwin is an Architect, artist and educator.
Peter’s research interest’s and practice include the generative and speculative potential of architectural drawing, the role of Narrative in the experience, perception, and shaping of space, and the development of pedagogic and conceptual frameworks to create dexterous, generous architectural practitioners who are prepared for the challenges facing both the profession and the wider context in which it operates.
Peter’s current design projects “Soul B[u]oy” (exhibited as part of “In Memoriam” at the Yale School of Architecture) and “Charting Null Island” (featured in Cartographies of the Imagination) explore the postmodern condition and the emerging consequences of digitization, exploring the ethics, agency and drivers for design in a society increasingly preoccupied with a dual existence.
